研究対象を結晶や高分子に焦点を当てた「量子材料学」、
生体機能を電子の振る舞いから探る「量子生物学」、
計算機を用いて電子に対する量子論を検討する「量子理論」
の3つに大別し、研究を進めています。
We are challenging to find novel properties and to create new concepts latent in the interdisciplinary materials among physics, chemistry and biology. We also pay our effort to demonstrate their mechanisms on the basis of the quantum physics and chemistry with the help of supercomputers. The computational material designing is, then, one of our research targets.
